Part 1.Basic Principle & Processes

The basic principle of air separation is to use the different boiling points of the components of liquefied air to separate them. To this end, an air separation plant includes the following processes:
 

(1) Filtering and compression
(2). Purification
(3). Cool the air to the liquefaction temperature
(4). Refrigeration
(5). Liquefaction
(6). Recalibration
(7). Removal of hazardous substances

Necessary Conditions before Starting the Air Separation

1. The construction of all piping, mechanical and electrical equipment has been completed and accepted.

3. All safety valves have been set and put into use.
4. All manual valves and pneumatic valves are flexible, and all regulating valves should be debugged and calibrated.
5. All machines and instruments are in good condition and ready for use
6. The program control system of the molecular sieve purifier has been debugged and is ready.
7. The power supply is ready.
8. The water supply is ready.
9. The instrument air source is ready.
